Jeremy Sisson is a Republican candidate for the Florida State House, District 47.
He is a seasoned entrepreneur, small business owner, commercial real estate expert and philanthropic community leader. As the Chief Executive Officer of Evan James and Associates, an award-winning commercial real estate brokerage, he is responsible for the business’ vision, long-term strategy and growth and has had an almost twenty year mortgage and real estate career, here in Florida.
Under his executive leadership, the Evan James and Associates Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund was formed. When completed, this Fund will disburse over 125 million dollars spanning the next several years into distressed “Opportunity Zones” throughout the State of Florida. One of the Fund's primary objectives will be to develop and bring to market thousands of high-quality, steel-framed, environmentally-conscious, reasonably-priced housing and multifamily units. This endeavor in itself will create hundreds of high-paying jobs and spur economic growth within the construction industry and its ancillary business services.
As a political outsider, he would utilize his master's degree in business administration and his time-tested small business knowledge to benefit the people of House District 47. Sisson believes that every person deserves the same opportunity to succeed and will strive to guarantee this right. His campaign will be focused on education, business growth, renewable energy, housing and healthcare.
Fully committed to serving his community for nearly two decades, his company recently received a 2019 Corporate Philanthropy Award from the Orlando Business Journal. He was also part of a group who received a 2019 Advocates for Children Award.
